Maxine Marketing Inc. is seeking a detailed oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Accounts Department by assisting with financial recordkeeping, accounts processing, payroll support, and general administrative support.
We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and motivated individual who demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, adaptability, and commitment to maintain high standards of financial and administrative support. The successful candidate must be able to meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a dynamic restaurant environment.
Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accounting clerk or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks and Google Docs applications, particularly Sheets.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
To communicate effectively and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically agile and capable of working efficiently in a fast paced hospitality environment.
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Process daily orders, payments, expense reports, and invoices.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports and other financial data.
Assist with payroll related processes.
Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
Support the Accounts Department with additional duties as required.
