The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role assists with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll administration, leave management, employee relations, and general HR activities while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, administration, or a related role is preferred.
Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and general HR administration.
Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Familiarity with payroll administration, attendance, leave, and employee benefits is an asset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations is desirable.
Experience working in a confidential and professional office environment.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department.
Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR-related correspondence.
Coordinate the onboarding and orientation of new employees and ensure all required documentation is completed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files and HR records.
Process and maintain records relating to employee attendance, leave, overtime, and other HR matters.
