Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our operations in a remote interior location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of productivity and workplace safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5–8 years' proven experience operating excavators in mining, construction, or heavy earthmoving operations.

• Valid Heavy-Duty Equipment Operator certification or equivalent qualification is an asset.

• Sound knowledge of excavator maintenance and safe operating practices.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor conditions.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.

• Perform excavation, loading, grading, trenching, and related earthmoving activities.

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects or maintenance requirements.

• Ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

• Comply with all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Work effectively with supervisors and other team members to achieve operational objectives.
