The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and legal support to our Corporate services team by assisting with document preparation, file management, research, and compliance-related tasks.

Education:
Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a legal, administrative, or similar role
Relevant internship or practical exposure will be considered an advantage
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Basic understanding of legal terminology, corporate governance, and compliance processes
Knowledge of company registration, business name registration, and statutory filing procedures
Ability to conduct legal and regulatory research
Knowledge of Corporate filing and compliance administration
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of legal terminology and documents
Awareness of confidentiality and handling sensitive information
Willingness to learn legal processes and procedures
Calendar and deadline management, including tracking court, regulatory, and client deadlines
Meeting coordination, minute-taking, and preparation of reports.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional attitude and strong work ethics
In this position, you will be expected to support our Corporate function for various clients. You will:
Provide administrative support to the legal team
Prepare, format, and organize legal documents and correspondence
Maintain and update filing systems (physical and electronic)
Assist with drafting basic legal documents and letters
Conduct basic research on legal matters when required
Handle confidential information with discretion
