Requirements

  • Currently pursuing accounting education/training ( CAT or ACCA)

  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports ( Ms Excel skills)

  • 2 years work experience  in  Accounting

  • Experience with accounting software  QuickBooks

  • Experience with general ledger functions

  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Supports accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements and maintaining data within the financial/accounting system

  • Reconcile GL accounts in a timely manner

  • Posting  financial transactions  and preparing payments

  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas

  • Prepare debtor invoices and aging reports

  • Process creditor invoices and prepare aging reports

  • Prepare information for VAT filing

  • Prepare payroll calculations and payments

  • Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation schedules

  • Reconcile related party transactions on monthly basis and prepare settlements

  • Assist during compilation and audit of financial statements

  • Assist with Monthly  finance reports  ( retrieving data from quick books  and updating existing   table Formats

  • Assist  manager with any other  accounting  related functions
