A private client on the East Bank is seeking a dependable and experienced Handyman for occasional, project-based work involving household installations, property maintenance, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to complete a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and reliability.
Proven experience with furniture assembly, security camera mounting/setup, cable management, and general household maintenance
Experience in installing and setting up security cameras is preferred.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Own transportation and basic tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional demeanor, reliability, and punctuality.
Respect for client privacy and property.
Ability to provide at least two references.
Preference will be given to candidates who can provide at least two references, have their own basic tools, and have experience with furniture assembly, security camera mounting/setup, and general household maintenance. Background checks may be requested for candidates being considered for ongoing work. Preference may also be given to individuals who operate a registered business or carry liability insurance, although this is not required.
Note: Cleaning supplies will be provided for cleaning-related tasks. Candidates should have access to their own basic tools required for handyman services. Candidates are expected to maintain a clean work area and dispose of any packaging or debris generated during projects.
Assemble and install furniture and household items purchased online.
Install and set up home security cameras.
Perform cable management and organization.
Mount shelves, storage units, and other household fixtures.
Conduct minor household repairs and maintenance.
Assist with yard work and outdoor clean-up.
Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and clean exterior steps, walkways, patios, and surrounding areas.
Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after completing tasks.
Identify and report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards observed while performing work.
