Description

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining tanks and vessels on offshore facilities such as FPSOs, drillships, production platforms, and support vessels.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.

  • Offshore experience is an advantage.

  • Basic offshore safety training such as:

  • BOSIET

  • HUET

  • CA-EBS

  • First Aid/CPR

  • H2S Awareness (if required)

  • Confined Space Entry

  • Working at Heights

  • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces.

  • Ability to work rotational offshore schedules.

  • Knowledge of tank cleaning procedures.

  • Understanding of offshore safety standards.

  • Ability to use pressure washing and cleaning equipment.

  • Teamwork and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Clean cargo tanks, ballast tanks, slop tanks, and process vessels.

  • Remove sludge, scale, oil residues, and other contaminants.

  • Operate high-pressure water jetting and cleaning equipment.

  • Assist with tank entry preparations and confined-space operations.

  • Follow permit-to-work (PTW) systems and safety procedures.

  • Conduct gas testing and ensure tanks are safe for entry.

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.

  • Assist with waste handling and disposal according to environmental regulations.

  • Support maintenance and inspection teams during tank cleaning activities.

  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report defects.

  • Complete required job reports and documentation
