MACORP is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join our Product Support team as Equipment Management Solutions (EMS) Superintendent.
The successful candidate will lead and integrate key Equipment Management Solutions (EMS) activities across Product Support, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, profitability, customer value and aftermarket growth through effective service operations and data-driven maintenance and repair solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Product Support and/or Service Operations, with exposure to areas such as WIP control, S.O.S/Condition Monitoring, warranty recovery, service planning and CVA management.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in team leadership or supervision.
• Knowledge of Product Support service processes, warranty administration, S.O.S/fluid analysis, CVA administration, telematics/connectivity and Service Standard Jobs would be an asset.
• Caterpillar certification and/or relevant Caterpillar training would be an asset.
• Training or certification in Reliability/Condition Monitoring, Warranty, Project/Operations Management, Data Analytics, or Quality/Compliance would be an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Excel, Power BI and other relevant technology tools would be an asset.
• Strong leadership, planning, analytical, communication and results-oriented skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Lead and control Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Service Calls, supporting timely job closure, productivity and customer commitments.
• Lead S.O.S Laboratory operations, ensuring quality, compliance, turnaround targets, continuous improvement and operational sustainability.
• Manage and monitor warranty operations, supporting timely submissions, recovery maximization, policy compliance and effective administration.
• Lead the execution and management of Customer Value Agreements (CVA), integrating Parts, Service, Training, Technology, Digital and SOS capabilities.
• Lead Condition Monitoring and equipment connectivity, transforming machine data, telematics and S.O.S results into actionable maintenance and repair recommendations.
• Plan and administer Service Standard Jobs and support the expansion of maintenance and repair solutions across customer fleets.
• Develop and deliver effective commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
• Define, monitor and report on key EMS performance indicators and dashboards, using data to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Promote technology adoption, change management and continuous improvement across Product Support operations.
• Ensure compliance with established Safety, HSE, ISO and quality standards.
