Description

Assist the lead teacher in supporting children ages 4 to 10 in a multigrade classroom by helping to plan and deliver engaging lessons, supervise classroom activities, and provide individualized support based on each child’s learning needs. Assist with preparing learning materials, monitoring and recording pupils’ progress, maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom, and encouraging positive behavior and participation. Provide care, guidance, and encouragement to pupils while helping to create a supportive and inclusive classroom.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a teacher

·Teaching or any other certificates like CXC

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons using appropriate teaching aids, providing individualized and interactive instruction, assessing and recording pupils’ progress, and giving constructive feedback. Maintain an orderly, respectful, and clean classroom environment while organizing learning materials and resources. Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, courtesy, and commitment to meeting each pupil’s individual learning needs. Ensure the classroom is neat and clean before and after each teaching period.

As an experienced teacher who worked at a top Private School for over 14 years, a passion was developed to assist children who were considered weak in literacy or unable to meet the requirements to enter the school, thus Nick’s Phonics Centre was created. We cater our services to children between the ages of 3 years old to 8 years old. We partner with the child’s teacher, so parents can feel confident that their child’s learning plan is on track.
