Administrative Assistant


Job Location



The Administrative assistant is responsibilities for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.


Required Experience

  • 5 CXC or GCE passes, including Mathematics and English

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience

Required skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in a similar position would be considered an asset.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Well organized, punctual, and committed.

  • Mature and must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.


ADMIN List of Duties

  • Renewal of Machinery Insurances/New Insurances

  • Online orders – Parts, tarps, etc.

  • Purchase minutes online for Sat phones

  • Inventory, issuance and re-ordering of Dredge books

  • Authorizations to purchase Dredge books

  • Renewal of Business Registration

  • Ordering of Vouchers

  • Ordering of job cards

  • Job Letters - Interior employees

  • NIS/GRA compliances

  • Receipts for some Sale & Purchase of Mining Property

  • Email company’s documents annually

  • Mailing out of Proof of Address

  • Ordering of stamps

  • Ordering of Office Furniture

  • Christmas Gift List

ADMIN List of Duties – Other Companies

  • Pest Control for Head Office and other Properties

  • Monitor collection of Sanitary Bin

  • Servicing/repairs to printers

  • Stationery – Requisitions, ordering, etc. (online & locally)

  • Ordering of stamps –

  • Renewal of Fire Insurances for all properties

  • Renewal of Vehicle Insurances /New Insurances

  • Renewal of Business Registrations

  • Ordering of Vouchers

  • M&CC rates for all properties

  • Management of Digicel Phone Network

  • NIS & GRA Compliance

  • Vehicle Sale Agreements

  • Ordering of Office Furniture

  • Christmas Gift List
