Description

The Finances Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department. The Finance Officer must always be confidential, professional and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Should have a Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree completed or currently finalizing or Level 1 ACCA

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity

  •  Ability to work with accounting software.

  • Proven oral, written, and active listening skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

 

Responsibilities

  • Receivables account management

  • Payables account management

  • Preparation and filing of statutory remittances such as Withholding Tax.

  • Recording of transactions in Xero accounting software

  • Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Update internal systems with all financial data.

  • Any other related duties assigned.
