The Finances Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department. The Finance Officer must always be confidential, professional and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.
Should have a Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree completed or currently finalizing or Level 1 ACCA
3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity
Ability to work with accounting software.
Proven oral, written, and active listening skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Receivables account management
Payables account management
Preparation and filing of statutory remittances such as Withholding Tax.
Recording of transactions in Xero accounting software
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Update internal systems with all financial data.
Any other related duties assigned.
