Description
Farfan & Mendes Company is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Technician within the Small Engines Department.
The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by carrying out timely servicing and repairs of equipment.
Requirements
· Government Technical Institute Certificate in Agricultural Machinery, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or similar certification
· One (1) year experience in a similar role will be an asset
· Strong customer service skills
· Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must be willing to travel to locations within Guyana
Responsibilities
· Service and repair equipment in an efficient and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor
· Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and staff as required
· Perform minor repairs at the counter
· Start and tune equipment as well as assembling units as required
· Assist with demonstrations, exhibitions and training as required
· Ensure all procedures and checks are adhered to in keeping with quality controls
· Ensure that all replaced parts have been properly bagged and labeled to be returned to the customer
