The Operations Supervisor oversees daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient clearance and timely processing of air and sea freight while delivering an outstanding customer service experience. The role focuses on customer engagement, proactive issue resolution, team leadership, and continuous improvement of service standards to drive operational excellence and business growth.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or higher in Business Management or Marketing.
• Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CSCMP).
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a operations supervisor or manager.
• Must be flexible and willing to work beyond standard 8-hour shifts
• Valid driver’s license for vehicles up to 10 tons (Manual) would be an asset.
• Experience as a Customs Broker is an asset.
• Experience with logistics software and systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and optimize operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience in handling challenging
interactions.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders (Customs, warehouse, internal departments).
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in management methods and techniques to achieve business goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Highly organized with clear goal-setting and process management skills.

• Deliver an outstanding service experience to all customers.
• Promote organic growth through high levels of customer engagement.
• Take ownership of customer concerns with proactive follow-up and 100% resolution.
• Review and refine service procedures, policies, and standards to optimize opportunities
and minimize risks.
• Oversee clearance and processing of all air and sea freight (incoming and outgoing cargo)
ensuring timely delivery.
• Recruit, coach, and develop customer service agents, fostering an environment of
empowerment and excellence.
• Market and promote the business to increase clientele and drive growth.
• Stay ahead of industry developments and apply best practices for continuous
improvement.
• Manage resources effectively to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.
• Maintain an orderly workflow aligned with priorities.
