Description

Demerara Distillers Limited & Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite requirements, for the position of Driver / Salesman for our Beverage Division.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s licence must include motor lorry.

  • Completion of secondary school (no CSEC subjects required).

  • Excellent customer service skills & experience in sales would be an asset. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver beverages safely and efficiently to various retail outlets, distributors, and customers across designated routes.

  • Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies to ensure the safe and lawful operation of the delivery vehicle at all times.

  • Follow all road safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

  • Conduct inspections for fuel, oil, water, lights, tires, and any mechanical issues.
