The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, tracking incoming and outgoing goods, and supporting overall inventory control processes. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of supply chains across all locations, minimizing shortages, and supporting timely production and order fulfillment.
Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or commissary operations is preferred, but not mandatory
Familiarity with stock tracking systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Understanding of food safety, labeling, and storage standards
Ability to lift and move stock items and work on foot for extended periods
Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
Accurately record and track inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
Monitor stock levels across multiple departments (hot line, cold line, sauces, packaging, etc.)
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits
Receive, inspect, and log deliveries, verifying quantities and product quality
Label and organize stock in accordance with FIFO and food safety protocols
Communicate stock discrepancies, low inventory alerts, and supply concerns to supervisors
Support the preparation of inventory reports and usage summaries for management
Ensure storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers remain organized and compliant
Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely replenishment of items
Assist with tracking waste and damage for reporting and accountability
