The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and controlling all materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse. This includes receiving, issuing, storing, and maintaining accurate records of inventory to ensure materials are available when needed and waste or loss is minimized.
Based at construction sites.
May require extended hours during peak project phases.
Physical ability to handle materials and perform stock inspections.
Receive all incoming materials, verify quantities, quality, and condition against purchase orders or delivery notes.
Record and update stock levels in the inventory manual log.
Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site personnel based on approved requests.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of materials to ensure easy identification and prevent damage or deterioration.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of the store/warehouse area.
Monitor usage levels of frequently used materials and alert management for reordering.
Ensure return of tools and reusable materials after use and maintain tool register.
Work closely with procurement and site teams to forecast material requirements.
Prevent theft, loss, or misuse of materials through proper record-keeping and store discipline.
