We are looking for a suitably qualified male to join our team as a Forklift Operator.
PAS Cargo Guyana Inc. is a freight forwarding company offering various services like air and ocean freight forwarding, customs clearance and local logistics.
Minimum 5 CXC Subjects.
Must be certified to operate a forklift.
Experience as a Forklift Operator will be a plus.
Interpersonal skills will be a plus.
Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack cargo of all types.
Safely load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
Safely transport cargo to and from storage areas.
Ensure all loads are properly secured, stable, and within weight limits to prevent shifting or damage.
Conduct daily pre-operation checks and safety inspections of the forklift for proper functioning. Promptly report any mechanical issues, damages, or potential hazards to Supervisors. Follow all company safety protocols, HSSE standards, and company guidelines to prevent accidents.
Participate in regular inventory and cycle counts to maintain accuracy. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, noting any discrepancies.
