Welder

Brunel is seeking a Truck Driver to join operations in Guyana and work in a 6-month to 1-year contract (with possibility of extension) with a multinational company recognized as a leader in the energy and integrated logistics sector.

This professional will be responsible for performing welding activities on structures, piping, and equipment, ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance with applicable international standards.

• Proven experience as a welder in industrial, construction, or energy environments;

• Knowledge of multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, etc.);

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;

• Welding certification will be considered an advantage;

• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards;

• Availability to work on a local basis in Guyana.

• Carry out welding on different materials and in various positions, according to technical specifications;

• Prepare surfaces and parts for welding, using appropriate tools;

• Perform visual inspections and adjustments to welds, ensuring integrity and quality;

• Assist in cutting, assembling, and repairing metal structures;

• Follow all occupational health and safety requirements at every stage;

• Maintain records of work performed and report material or equipment needs;

• Cooperate with other teams to meet deadlines and project requirements.
