Quality Controller Trainee

As a Quality Control Inspector, you bring value to GKB by accurately and thoroughly performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests on various material types received, any work in process, or finished products to ensure compliance with job specifications.  Inspectors utilize established standards and measurement equipment to verify acceptable dimensional tolerance or pressure integrity.

• High School Graduate or CSEC, Trade School, or read and write

• No quality control experience required

• Participate in an on-the-job training program learning the use of gauges for premium and API threads

• Document all dimensional inspection results on required documents.

• Maintain traceability on nonconforming products.

• Perform end drift inspections under all premium connections.

• Learn receiving inspection SOPs and perform these inspections as needed.

• Follow the requirements of GKB’s safety program.

• Other duties as assigned.
