Service Supervisor Team Lead

Responsible for managing the daily activities of the Service department, including coordinating the work of Service Technicians, managing OEM warranty programs, working with the the other departments on parts availability and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Diploma Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Management and work experience in a Service environment

Or a minimum of five (3) years’ experience leading a Heavy Equipment Service team in an OEM dealership or similar environment.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Solid understanding of supplier warranty programs and how they work.

Experience with managing service a wide portfolio of Heavy Equipment brands such as JCB, Cummins, Atlas Copco, Navistar, Lincoln Electric.

Plans, manages, and oversees service-related activities for shop and field technicians, ensuring timely and efficient completion of work and providing excellent customer service.

Works with the Parts Manager to set inventory levels for critical parts and supplies to reduce job wait time without affecting stock turns.

Fosters and maintains relationships with key customers, prioritizing customer satisfaction as a top objective.

Manages department employees, including ensuring the right staffing and skills levels are maintained to support the department’s growth and development plans.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant safety regulations in all department activities.

Monitors department performance metrics and develop plans to address areas of improvement.

Adheres to the proper safety policies and practices and ISO standards.
