Description

Responsible for overseeing the vehicle sales operations, developing and implementing sales strategies, and leading the sales team to achieve targets. This role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Administration/ Marketing with at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in sales or marketing in a medium – large scale organization at a supervisory level

  • Motor vehicles experience will be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the timely opening and closing of the department on all working days.

  • Responsible for the training, coaching and supervision of all sales staff.

  • Preparation of draft stock orders to be suctioned with CEO.

  • Responsible for the clearance of all vehicles from the port (warehousing policies, customs escort and warehousing officers).

  • Responsible for accurate maintenance of the stock register.

  • Responsible for the timely application of customs warehousing department for releasing vehicles.

  • Must ensure the proper display of stock numbers on all warehoused vehicles.

  • Must ensure full payments from all customers.

  • Must ensure that all customer files contain all documents as per check list.

  • Responsible for the maintenance of all records of the department (quotations, invoices, receipts, bill books, etc).

  • Responsible for maintaining the revenue stamp stock.

  • Responsible for maintaining trade plates BAL 1 – BAL 4.

  • Submitting of all reports, BAL Management – weekly, fortnightly and monthly.

  • Submitting of all reports to Toyota on a timely basis.

  • Must be involved in sales promotion activities.

  • Responsible for setting sales targets and ensuring all efforts are made towards achieving and exceeding them.

  • Respond promptly to emails.

  • Respond to Toyota emails and submit in a timely manner all Toyota reports.

  • Assist with tenders.

  • Prepare monthly inventory reports.
