The Finance Manager at Caribbean International Distribution Inc., will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the FMCG or distribution sector.
Strong knowledge of Guyana’s tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide informed recommendations and decisions.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in managing the finances of an international or large-scale organization.
Knowledge of import/export financial processes and inventory cost management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks effectively.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Conduct financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
Monitor and control expenditures to meet budgetary guidelines.
Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
