Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of a brokerage clerk at Muneshwers Limited.
A minimum of 5 subjects CXC, inclusive of English and Maths
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be computer literate, proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Ayscuda certified will be an asset.
The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Arrange for payments of taxes and duties on shipments.
Clear goods through customs.
Coordinate logistics or other business operations.
Calculate duty and tariff payments owed on shipments.
Monitor the location/Arrival of goods.
Compile necessary import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo-control documents.
Advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotas, or other customs-related matters.
Any other assigned duties.
