Glamour Diplomatic Duty Free is a new retailer of both imported & locally produced Alcoholic Beverages, Cigars and Tobacco Products; operating conveniently on North Road in the heart of Georgetown and specifically catering to Diplomatic and approved shoppers.
The goal is to provide high class customer service and product assortment; and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization.
Store manager would be responsible for the complete operation of store. Work with management to drive sales and ensure high levels of customer service.
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail environment.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Bi-Lingual skills a plus.
Must present professional appearance, must be team oriented, must participate in daily / weekly / monthly stock counts. Must be a multi-tasker who enjoys being on feet.
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers. Strong Sales Skills, persuasive "selling" (rather than "telling"). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise sales associates in generating sales, store housekeeping, loss prevention, merchandising, pricing, cash register operations (POS).
Adhere to GRA regulations and all
Company policies and procedures.
Ensuring client concerns/ requests are solved professionally.
Administer coaching & counseling, corrective actions and proper documentation to sales associates when necessary.
Act as role models of professionalism, ethical behavior and effective decision making at all times.
Delegating task and following up to ensure task completion.
Observing and providing feedback of associate performance and customer queries.
Motivating and training employees to perform at a high level in a professional manner.
Liaising with Finance department daily to ensure accounting procedures / GRA regulations are followed.
Processing weekly reorders, follow up and receive goods to be inventoried.
