Organize and manage recruitment and provide support to the Human Resources operations.
• At least five (5) subjects CXC
• Diploma in Public/Business Management or equivalent studies
• At least One (1) year in a Human Resources Position.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in NIS/Insurance Claims would be an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Good communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Manage the recruitment process
• Manage new employees' "nesting period"
• Prepare vacancy notice to be advertised (internal & External) if needed
• Schedule interviews and begin the recruitment process for selected applicants
• Process and submit employees' medical certificates for sickness benefit to NIS/GTM.
• Assist with maintaining employees' personal files with high level of confidentiality
• Manage and update applications in an excel data format.
• Assist with HR retention strategies

MACORP was established by being awarded by CATERPILLAR as the only Authorized Caterpillar Dealer in Guyana. The bid of MACORP was selected from several other Companies’ bids. Companies with long and proven experience as dealers of CATERPILLAR and other manufacturers’ product line of heavy equipment. In 2018, MACORP celebrated 25 years of service to Guyana.
