Position: Marketing Officer (Marketing Operations & Growth)
Location: Soeddyke (Main Office) – with monitoring/visits to Safa Point, Yarrowkabra, La Retraite, Free and Easy, and Mines (plus future locations)
Work Days: Monday to Friday (5 days/week)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reports To: CEO (with strong collaboration with Sales Manager & Multimedia Content Creator)
Monthly Salary: 170,000 Starting
Role Summary
We are hiring a Marketing Officer to build and enforce the marketing engine of our construction materials and logistics business. This is not a “post on social media” role. You will own marketing structure, CRM discipline, lead generation, customer feedback/testimonials, internal marketing training, and brand consistency across all operations.
You will work alongside our Multimedia Content Creator (production) and our Sales Manager (execution) to create a system where:
Leads increase significantly
The CRM becomes non-negotiable and properly enforced
Every completed job triggers an automated feedback/testimonial workflow
Customers stay informed through consistent updates
Staff understand and represent the company professionally at all times
Increase engagements across platforms (clear month-on-month growth).
Increase leads by at least 200% (baseline to be defined in week 1).
CRM fully operational with stages, required fields, dashboards, and weekly audit process implemented.
Feedback loop implemented: every job triggers feedback request within 24–48 hours.
Testimonials pipeline: consistent capture + publishing cadence (minimum targets set after baseline).
Brand compliance across all locations: audits completed, issues corrected, staff retrained as needed.
Proven experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or growth marketing (construction/industrial/logistics is a strong advantage).
Strong understanding of CRM systems and pipeline enforcement (HubSpot / Zoho / Monday / etc.).
Strong communication skills (writing, customer messaging, scripting).
Comfortable on camera and working closely with content production.
Ability to create structure, enforce standards, and train teams.
Organized, proactive, and execution-focused.
Experience building feedback/testimonial systems.
Campaign management and lead-gen strategy.
Basic design/copywriting skills.
Understanding of sales funnel metrics and conversion improvement.
Continuously develop ways to uniquely position our products/services (construction materials, deliveries, integrated project solutions).
Build clear “offers” for different customer types (contractors, developers, homeowners, corporate projects).
Track market shifts and recommend adjustments so we stay ahead.
Establish the CRM framework: stages, required fields, lead source tracking, follow-up cadence, pipeline rules, reporting dashboards.
Enforce CRM usage across sales and operations: if it’s not in the CRM, it didn’t happen.
Train team members and audit weekly for compliance and quality.
Create a post-job workflow that triggers:
Feedback request (WhatsApp/SMS/email)
Testimonial capture (text, photo, video where possible)
Service rating capture + improvement notes
Approval and publishing process
Ensure testimonials are organized and used in marketing campaigns.
Create and manage a weekly/monthly content plan aligned to leads and sales goals.
Direct the Multimedia Content Creator (briefs, scripts, shot lists, deliverables).
Quality-check content for brand, clarity, and effectiveness before publishing.
Be present in videos where required (or coordinate staff participation).
Train staff regularly on how to represent and market the company (communication standards, customer interaction, uniforms/branding, photo/video discipline on sites).
Ensure marketing materials are installed/positioned properly at all locations (signage, posters, catalogs, uniforms, vehicle branding).
Maintain brand consistency across Suzek and all operational sites.
Weekly reporting to management on:
Leads generated, lead sources, conversion performance
Engagement metrics and content performance
CRM compliance score
Testimonials collected and published
Customer feedback trends + improvement actions
