Key Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
Set up and stock stations; maintain cleanliness and organization
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with inventory, labeling, and storage
Work closely with kitchen team to ensure timely service
Fusion Hospitality was born from a shared vision between two friends, Yonnick David and Javid Rahaman, who reconnected at a rooftop bar called Altitude. At the time, Yonnick had just returned to Guyana after living in the United States, while Javid was deeply involved in running Altitude his family’s business. As the vision took shape, they were joined by Victor Tenias, a talented and passionate chef whose culinary creativity completed the foundation of the group. Together, they formed Fusion Hospitality, engaging investors and building a portfolio of some of Guyana’s premier dining and entertainment destinations. In a short time, Fusion Hospitality has catered to influential audiences, earned multiple awards, created meaningful employment, and helped redefine what modern hospitality can look like in Guyana.
