Purpose & Mission

Inside Sales Representatives focus on promoting CMA CGM’s products and services through remote channels such as phone calls, email, and online meetings. They nurture leads, provide product information, and guide customers through the sales process. They also support Outside Sales, Trade, and Customer Care by preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and ensuring smooth customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum 5 CSEC Subjects, preferable diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business with a first experience in business or marketing activities, ideally in a shipping environment.

You are fluent in English and you have good command of computer and Office tools (especially Excel).

You are organized and self-reliant, strong negotiation, and organizational abilities, along with
proficiency in sales software and tools.

Your interpersonal skills, a good sense of communication, and your team spirit make you succeed in your mission

Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, or online platforms to understand their needs and provide solutions.

  • Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA…) to assigned area/accounts.

Attending to internal quotes requests received via emails / calls and adequate follow up and negotiations to closed deals.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate benefits to customers. Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and/or improve outcomes according to commercial strategy

Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company. Provide inputs in sales budgeting process under guidance of your Manager, analyse sales results/performances and budget discrepancies in order to suggest corrective actions.

CRM Management: Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to record and track sales activities and customer interactions.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and support sales efforts. Ensure that internal support is provided to Outside Sales/Manager (Includes preparation of performance report) upon request.

Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review and discussions during weekly/monthly meetings and presentations. Real expert of your assigned area/accounts, you are responsible for marketing follow up (market research, statistics…) and regularly report KPI to your Management.

As key contact of the Group and main customers of your assigned area/accounts, you may be asked to organize internal visits in our local agencies or accompanied Outside Sales / Manager to external visits.
