A Rope Access Technician is responsible for performing inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks at height or in difficult-to-access areas using specialized rope access techniques. They ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards.
· Must possess a valid IRATA Certification level 2
· Minimum 4 years' experience
· Offshore experience a must and worked on FPSO.
· Appropriate attitude, aptitude, physical capability and training
· Physically fit and free from any disability that might prevent them from working safely at height
· Performs work at height using rope access techniques for inspection, maintenance, installation tasks and assigned work tasks.
· Carry out tasks safely using rope access systems
· Follow work-at-height safety procedures and standards
· Assist in rescue and emergency response situations
· Able use the equipment properly and safely.
· Able to inspect their equipment, maintain and store the equipment they use
