Description
Consolidated Cargo is seeking two (2) qualified and motivated individuals to join our team in the role of Diesel Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic Apprentice. This opportunity is ideal for persons who are passionate about vehicle maintenance and mechanical excellence and who wish to grow within a dynamic cargo and logistics company. Preference would be given to persons living on the East Bank of Demerara (Diamond - Timehri).
Requirements
5+ years' experience (experienced mechanic)
GTIC or GTI certification (experienced and apprentice)
Welding and hydraulic knowledge would be an asset
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
Perform routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues.
Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
Work collaboratively with the operations team to minimize downtime.
