Description

Assemble, install and repair the pipes, fixtures and fittings used to supply water and gas/ remove wastes in buildings, repair/replace damaged structures, maintain job performance and quality standards, and house-keeping practices.

Requirements

Sound Primary Education 

Craft Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery/Plumbing (GTI/GITC) 

2-3 Years’ Related Work Experience  

Responsibilities

  • Study building plans and discuss the client's requirements.  

  • Replace/repair damaged pipes, cut holes in walls for new pipes and measure, cut and shape pipes.  

  • Install and join pipes and fittings, and test joins for leaks.  

  • Install Solar Water Heater. 

  • Install Carbon and Sand Filters. 

  • Install PVC & Galvanized gutters. 

  • Install circular gutters 

  • Install fixtures such as gas stoves, toilets and air-conditioning, repair and maintain pipes and fixtures.  

  • Install bathrooms and maintain hot water and heating systems.  

  • Install and repair roofing pipes/ spouting. 

  • Must operate within all safety equipment whenever climbing heights to effect repair works.
