Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse and distribution facility. The role ensures efficient handling of products while maintaining safety standards, accuracy, and proper storage procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.

• Valid forklift operator certification/license (where applicable).

• Experience with inventory handling and loading procedures is an asset.

• Stack and arrange inventory according to warehouse layout and safety guidelines.

• Assist with receiving, picking, and staging orders for delivery.

• Verify quantities and inspect products for damage during handling.

• Ensure proper placement and organization of stock to support inventory accuracy.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following warehouse safety procedures.

• Assist warehouse staff with general duties when required.

• Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
