Description

Manage and oversee the safe operation of all activities and performance of Company to achieve budgetary targets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a business or technical field or 10 years of experience

in related field;

 4+ years of cross-functional project experience required;

 Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow

management;

 Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees; and

 Understanding of financial management.

 Good communication, leadership and team-building skills.

 Prior experience in leading a service and/or parts team.

 Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive deadlines.

 Prior experience with (and ability to interpret/understand) financial statements and

budgeting/forecasting.

 Knowledge of industrial equipment

Skills

 Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel, necessary for the creation of reports and

presentations.

 Ability to manage individuals at off-site locations, while coordinating their roles and activities to be in line

with the centralized effort

Responsibilities

HSSE Roles & Responsibilities

 Accountable for the HSSE Performance of all departments under your care

 Demonstrate visible HSSE leadership through personal example by frequent site inspections and reviews

 Provide adequate resources to meet the requirements of HSSE policy, objectives and action plans

 Support and encourage the HSSE Management System implementation

 Owner of HSSE Improvement Projects

 Approves HSSE targets and plans within their Departments

 Monitor the implementation of HSSE plans and HSSE performance

 Carry out HSSE Management Visits as per schedule

 Involvement in incident investigations as assigned

OSH Act Responsibilities

 To take reasonable care for the safety and health of himself and of other persons who may be affected by

his acts or omissions at work;

 As regards any duty or requirement imposed on his employer to co-operate with him so far as necessary to

ensure that that duty or requirement is performed or complied with;

SCOPE

Manage day to day operations of company to exceed company and client expectations;

 Develop and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with the Chairman, CEO and Directors

to enable the maximum business potential of the company to be realized in a cost effective manner;

 Identify business opportunities by communicating and meeting with potential clients and present

customers, looking at our competitors, and looking at the industry trends and insights so to address

specific needs and target the business that is a correct fit for the company;

 Develop and oversee contracts and personnel for service to ensure that objectives are met and a safe,

clean and efficient work environment is maintained.

 Facilitate interdepartmental communication and allocate tasks and resources as needed to ensure that

the business operates seamlessly;

 Work with Chairman to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans, objectives and goals

for each department under his/her responsibility, along with a plan of action about how to achieve them;

 Develop departmental objectives and ensure that obligations/ performance guarantees are met to ensure

that operations are efficient and effective and achieve financial goals of the company;

 Identify and resolve problems that affect cost, quality, schedule, and performance;

 Ensure stock and spares holding is adequate to meet operational and maintenance requirements while

at the same time, pursuing the objective of ensuring a minimal stock value;

 Ensure maintenance of all company equipment and stock is maintained in a manner that maximizes

availability while meeting all safety standards;

 Ensure cost management through training and advising staff, ensuring vendors are reviewed regularly,

and consolidating purchases in order to gain advantages in a competitive market;

 Ensure proper reporting on maintenance plans, testing, audits, performance and forecasts on all

equipment to ensure the reliability of each machine and as a result ensure a satisfied client;

 Compile and present weekly asset management reports to Chairman, CEO and Directors for equipment

maintenance, inventory, and facility in order to make the most value of the company’s assets and

achieve financial goals;

 Ensure that customer concerns and requests are addressed in a prompt and professional manner so

that the customer is satisfied and the image of the company is not tarnished;

 Ensures that departmental performance reviews are completed as required for everyone within his/her

purview;

 Ensure the provision of necessary tools, training, and support for his/her reports to achieve the collective

goals/objectives of company and their individual goals/objectives;

8. Advise the Chairman and CEO by generating weekly status reports, hosting periodic meetings, and advising of

customer feedback to ensure that decisions are made in a timely and effective manner;

 Effectively perform as a member of the team in carrying out the Company’s Mission Statement including

the promotion of a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale;

 Perform other tasks and duties assigned by the Chairman and CEO.
