Description
Join our Maintenance & Engineering team to maintain and repair terminal equipment, vehicles and fixed installations, keeping port operations safe and reliable.
Requirements
Recognised mechanical trade qualification in diesel or heavy-plant mechanics.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy-equipment or plant mechanical maintenance.
Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and diesel-engine faults.
Ability to respond to breakdowns and work safely under operational pressure.
Working proficiency in English and basic computer literacy.
Port, heavy-equipment or marine mechanical experience and hydraulics certification would be assets.
Responsibilities
Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs and breakdown support.
Inspect equipment, report defects and identify required parts.
Follow safety procedures, permits-to-work and equipment isolation controls.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and support general maintenance tasks.
