Description

The Rope Access Supervisor oversees rope access operations, ensuring that all work at height is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards. They lead teams of rope access technicians, coordinate tasks, and act as the primary authority for safety and rescue procedures.

Requirements

·       Must possess a valid IRATA Certification (IRATA Level 3).

·       Must possess a valid First Aid certification.

·       Minimum 7 years’ experience

·       Offshore experience a must and worked on FPSO.

·       Physically fit and free from any disability that might prevent them from working safely at height

Responsibilities

·       Knowledge of risk assessment, supervisory and administrative requirements.

·       The experience and competence to supervise the rope access work and any potential rescue for each rope access project under their supervision.

·       The ability to communicate to rope access technicians the rope access safety requirements for the project and to manage day-to-day problems on the site.

·       Leadership abilities appropriate to the work team.

·       The ability to monitor closely both worksite and personnel for rope access safety.

·       A thorough knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.

·       The ability to understand and implement the content of safety method statements

·       Responsible for supervising rope access job and ensuring all rope access operations follow the latest IRATA requirements.
