Pharmacist / Certified Pharmacy Assistant

Responsible for

·       Dispensing medication to patients

·       Inventory control within the Clinic

·       Sourcing and restocking medications from Suppliers

·       Recording temperature of refrigerator daily

·       Recording and filing all prescriptions accordingly

·       Providing pharmaceutical advice

·       Ensuring regulatory compliance

1. Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy / Diploma in Pharmacy

2. Pharmacy council license

3. Must be computer literate

4. good oral and communication skills

• Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with medical prescriptions and legal requirements.

• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.

• Provide medication counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.

• Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation.

• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.

• Comply with pharmacy regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and national drug laws.

• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
