The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment stored within the company’s storage containers. This role involves receiving, issuing, labeling, organizing, and tracking inventory to ensure availability and accountability of supplies for ongoing operations. The Inventory Clerk will also liaise with operations and procurement teams to report stock levels and request replenishments when necessary.
Work Environment:
Primarily within a storage container, which may involve working in warm and confined environment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday.
Sundays only as required based on project deadlines. (Sundays will be on a rotational basis.)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Certification in Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and general computer applications.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet daily reporting deadlines.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures and record-keeping best practices.
Understanding of workplace Health & Safety protocols.
Enter daily requisitions into QuickBooks.
Prepare and file requisitions accurately.
Update bin cards on a daily basis.
Process and issue stock items as required.
Record entries in the tool log book, tool payment book, and stock received ledger.
Assist in examining the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
Document daily deliveries and shipments to update and evaluate new inventory.
Document non-conforming, defective items.
Adhere to Quality Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
Perform any other task assigned to you by your supervisor/ manager that is within your scope of work.
