We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support a growing HR department. As part of a dynamic company, you will play a key role in handling day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee documentation, and ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
Certificate in Human Resources management a plus but not mandatory
5 CXC subjects
1 year of experience in Administration
Proficient in Excel MS Word
Experience in NIS Documentation a plus
Largely data entry/admin assistant type role
Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening applications, and scheduling interviews
Prepare and maintain accurate employee records (contracts, files, leave requests, etc.)
Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
Process NIS and PAYE registration and maintain statutory compliance records
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leave, etc.)
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Help organize training and employee engagement activities
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data protection standards are upheld
Complete data entry and administrative tasks
