➢ Inducts, orients, and trains new and existing staff.
➢ Conducts monthly staff meetings.
➢ Ensures that all employees’ personnel files are updated with all the relevant documents.
➢ Prepares and maintains an annual leave schedule and ensures that all employees are sent on leave according to
the schedule. All leave must be taken within the calendar year and must not be rolled over.
➢ Ensures that weekly and monthly payroll information (employee data sheet, annual leave, time-off, sick leave
etc.) is submitted to the Accounts Department.
➢ Ensures that probation review is done for all new staff.
➢ Collect employment and tax information from employees.
➢ Ensure background and reference checks are completed.
➢ Prepares job letters, employment contracts etc.
➢ Prepare new employee file.
➢ Answering employee questions.
➢ Processing incoming mail.
➢ Provide customer service to the employees.
➢ Serve as a point of contact with other departments.
➢ Maintains calendars of HR management activities.
➢ Prepares vacancy advertisements for both local and overseas recruitment.
➢ Recruits foreign staff and processes their employment, which includes employment contract, visa, extension of
stay, work permit, NIS, etc.
➢ Make travel arrangements for all foreign staff, which includes communicating with the travel agency to confirm
tickets and informing the employee/prospective employee of do’s and don’ts when travelling.
➢ Maintains and regularly updates the employee listing.
➢ Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and
current records.
➢ Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
➢ Ensures that the hospital always has an adequate number of trained receptionists to facilitate the smooth
functioning of its operations.
➢ Ensures that the housekeeping supervisor prepares the roster and all floors are adequately staffed.
➢ Ensures that monthly training is done for all housekeeping staff and Attendants.
➢ Oversee the completion of all compensation and benefit documentation.
➢ Orient new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, etc.).
➢ Assist in the resolution of any payroll errors.
➢ Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
➢ Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
➢ Complete termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews.
➢ Any other duties that may be assigned.
At least five (5) Subjects CXC, General Proficiency inclusive of Mathematics, English A and Accounts.
Experience in a similar capacity for at least three years will be an asset.
Must be Computer literate.
Good oral and written communication skills
