The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas in accordance with hotel standards. The role ensures a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping
Clean, sanitize, and restock guest rooms and bathrooms in accordance with hotel standards and safety protocols.
Change bed linens and replace used towels and toiletries.
Dust furniture, clean windows, and mop floors.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Check rooms for damage or items left behind by guests and report appropriately.
Refill cleaning supplies and housekeeping carts at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping storage areas, closets, and carts.
Respond promptly to guest requests, such as providing extra towels, pillows, or toiletries.
Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
Adhere to established safety and hygiene standards, including proper use of PPE and cleaning agents.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering departments to report repairs, broken fixtures, or hazards.
Maintain records of room status and cleaning completion using checklists or hotel software.
Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff.
Help with laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms.
Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with all guests and coworkers.
