Job Summary: A security officer’s primary function is to protect the safety of our customers and properties and to prevent unauthorized access to premises. Their responsibilities include:

Requirements:

v  Proven experience in security operations.

v  Good physical condition and able to perform security duties, such as standing and walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

v  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

v  Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

v  Must pass the entrance screening process

v  No criminal charges

v  Experience in the security industry is an asset

v  Reliable and punctual

v  Good communication skills

v  Ability to work various shifts

 

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.

Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers.

Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.

Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Provide excellent customer service.

 Adhere to all company service and operating standards.

Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.

Protect the customers ‘assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.

Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations.

Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior and security breaches

Perform such duties as may be required from time to time.
