The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient, and smooth delivery operations. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating delivery riders, optimizing routes, addressing delivery issues in real-time, and maintaining communication between restaurants, riders, and customers.
Cxc passes in at least 6 subjects
Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using dispatch software and mobile apps
Basic computer literacy (Excel, Google Sheets, email communication)
Knowledge of the Georgetown and surrounding areas’ road network is an asset
Dispatch & Coordination:
Assign orders to available riders in real-time using EZ Eats’ dispatch system
Monitor and manage order flow and delivery performance throughout the day
Track rider locations and adjust routes to ensure timely deliveries
Communicate with restaurants to confirm order preparation and pickup status
Rider Support & Oversight:
Serve as the main point of contact for delivery riders during active shifts
Resolve delivery-related issues promptly, including delays, rider no-shows, or customer complaints
Monitor rider attendance and maintain shift schedules
Support recruitment, onboarding, and basic training of new riders
Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
Handle customer delivery inquiries and complaints related to logistics
Communicate delays or issues to customers in a professional and timely manner
Operational Optimization
Provide feedback to improve dispatch efficiency and delivery times
Analyze delivery data to identify bottlenecks or performance issues
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement process improvements
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of delivery times, delays, cancellations, and rider performance
Generate daily and weekly delivery performance reports
