A project engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
· Degree in Engineering or Construction Science/Management or similar field.
· Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction with three (3) years’ in project management.
· Demonstrate capacity to complete project support, monitoring and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
· Knowledge or experience in Oil and Gas would be an advantage.

.Communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
· Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
· Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
· Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
· Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
· Participate in kick-off meetings with subcontractors to ensure common understanding of safety requirements, contract provisions, costs, and change management requirements.
· Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project schedule requirements and processes.
· Prepare weekly project reports.
