Description

The incumbent will be responsible for post purchase order coordination activities to ensure suppliers comply with all purchase order requirements in a timely manner for the equipment and commodities purchased by the company.

Requirements

  • Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English A

  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in procurement or a similar role will be an asset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Timely interaction with suppliers to ensure their documentary requirements are met.

  • Follow through with suppliers manufacturing schedules to ensure Ex-Works promised dates are achieved.

  • Inform stakeholders involved of anticipated delays in deliveries and initiate recovery plans to mitigate the effects of the delays.

  • Liaise with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure that all shipping arrangements are confirmed and understood by all parties prior to shipment.

  • Lead the communication with all suppliers to ensure that the procurement process is well managed until the final delivery of the products is completed.

  • Assist and support line managers in resolution of merchandise deficiencies after receipt of orders.

  • Provide feedback on supplier performance.

  • Assist with the overall administrative matters of each project, such as registry and maintenance of files and records.

  • Assist in the preparation and timely submission of reports.
