The Accounts Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties to support the financial operations of the organization. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.


  • CAT certification

  • Proven experience as an accounts clerk or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external parties.

  • Adept at problem-solving and analytical thinking.


  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Process invoices, prepare checks, and manage vendor payments.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Assist with budget preparation and financial audits.

  • Respond to accounting inquiries from management and other departments.

  • Maintain confidential financial information and records.

  • Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.
