Manage accounts and provide support for the accounting/ finance and sales departments.
Minimum of two years experience as an accounts clerk.
CAT Level 2 or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
Good accounting knowledge.
Quick-books software knowledge is a must.
Working knowledge of companies act and tax laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/ summaries on the area of activities.
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
Constantly update job knowledge.
