Description

Revenue Assurance plays a critical role in ensuring the business’ services are being accurately accounted for. Primary responsibilities include revenue assurance support, development, testing and tuning revenue assurance controls; monitoring, analyzing, evaluating, and performing proper and documented actions required to ensure accurate subscriber billing across all of GTT’s various revenue streams and across all network elements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

  • 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Working knowledge of international telephony standards, to include familiarity with GSM/LTE, DSL/Fiber Optic technologies, Database Management - SQL, and other common industry-wide wired & wireless standards

  • A strong background in reporting and file management techniques and programming skillsets (Java/JavaScript) will be an advantage

Responsibilities

·        Creating ServiceNow tickets from GTT Revenue Assurance control reports, performing research, providing analysis of the research, making decisions to further troubleshoot, and other means necessary to resolve control discrepancies according to service level agreements (SLAs).

·        Document and record findings and actions to resolve in the most efficient manner and f to be able to provide a historical view of corrections and progress.

·        Document procedures for all research and resolution in the most efficient manner.

·        Responsible for meeting all other SLAs defined by the organization.

·        Assist in identifying and driving resolution of root causes to problems and challenges by working with finance managers, billing, and systems support teams.

·        Assist in implementation of process improvements to address and correct issues identified to enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies.

·        Identify and report billing issues as they arise by working closely with billing and other departments.

·        Monitor daily processes for issues and coordinate resources to correct and resolve.

·        Create and maintain analytical tools.

·        Ensures deliverables are completed in a timely manner as defined by agreed-upon project plans.

·        May be assigned to small projects or to phases of a complex component.

·        Learning team role and how to contribute to team goals to achieve the successful implementation of client initiatives.

·        Other tasks and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

·        Liaise and work with diverse teams, coordinating various RA project ideas.

·        Identify improper practices, policies or documentation and research issues and make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.

·        Provide on-the job (OTJ) training for peers as requested to facilitate capability redundancy within the workgroup.

·        Direct decisions to further troubleshoot and take necessary means to resolve control discrepancies.
