Laparkan Guyana is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead its multifaceted operations in Guyana.
Objective: To oversee the local operations, budgets, all staff, and to help the company thrive.
· Masters degree in Business Management or relevant field.
· 5 to 10 years proven experience in a Senior Executive role in the Logistics/freight, Financial, Sales and or Restaurant Industry.
· Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.
· Superior knowledge of business processes and functions such as Finance Human Resources Procurement Operation Sales & Marketing Etc.
· Experience in planning and budgeting.
· Outstanding organizational leadership and analytical skill.
· Problem solving aptitude.
· Excellent Communications (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
· Must be highly organized with strong work ethics.
· Oversee day to day operations.
· Design strategies and set goals for organizational growth.
· Support staff development.
· Maintain budgets and manage expenses.
· Evaluate and improve operations performances.
· Ensure employees are motivated and productive.
· Ensure employees follow the Health and Safety Regulations.
· Provide solutions to operational issues such as conflicts, business loss, etc.
· Prepare regular reports for upper Management/ the Board of Directors.
· Maintain professional relationships with clients, competitors and other stake holders.
· Provide coaching, mentoring and training to managers and staff.
