Conduct general maintenance and minor repairs on all company vehicles.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with three years’ experience in a similar field.
Computer Literacy & competency to use Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint.
Experience in planning & scheduling of vehicle maintenance.
Must be able to make decisions based on technical criteria.
Must have good communication skills, oral and written.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Able to drive 4WD vehicles under Guyana law requirements with valid driver's license.
Able to perform physical work when required, that may include mechanical work, component repairs, working with oils, grease and other fluids and lifting small components.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and/or repairs of all company vehicles with mechanic.
Prepare and maintain vehicle maintenance schedule matrix.
Obtain and follow-up on quotations from suppliers.
Follow-up with Maintenance Analyst and Procurement in the ordering of vehicle parts and supplies.
Prepare and submit monthly vehicle maintenance reports to Administration Manager.
Track all vehicular expenses and keep a log of same.
Prepare yearly budget based on previous year's expenses.
Review contracts for contractors and process same.
