As a Marketing Specialist, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, contributing to various marketing activities and campaigns. This role demands a versatile and well-rounded marketer who can excel in multiple areas, including social media management, content creation, campaign execution, and data analysis. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with other department managers and team members to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate should be a creative and analytical thinker, capable of adapting to the fast-paced and dynamic marketing landscape.
In order to succeed in this position you should be:
An experienced digital marketer. You have a strong understanding of social media platforms. You understand how FB, Instagram, & Whatsapp analytics work, along with other platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
Experienced in posting ads and creating audience profiles. You understand how to create unique audience profiles based on ad requirements, you are also versed in various types of ad budgeting on Facebook, Google Ads, & LinkedIn.
Graphic Art Editor. You have an intermediate understanding of Image and Video editing software, such as Canva, or CapCut. Plus: An intermediate understanding of image or video creation platforms such as Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc. would be a plus, but is not required.
Technical by nature. You understand computers, Office & Google Suites, social media posting tools (Hootsuite, Zoho, etc.), and general research practices.
Charismatic & Energetic. You are energetic and in your element, speaking to teams of employees or presenting marketing reports to management. You are comfortable taking charge of a marketing campaign and interfacing with all parties.
A good writer. You have a detailed and professional writing style. You understand the difference in tone and structures for Social Media content, Blogs, Ads, Press Releases, Emails, Reports, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business OR 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing
Strong track record of implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
Strong computer skills including Google Office suites (Docs, Sheets, etc)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
Working harmoniously with the CEO and Management team to create marketing campaigns and develop the marketing department.
Devising innovative digital marketing campaigns that feed into the organization's overarching marketing strategy.
Creating engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organization's online brand.
Creating engaging physical marketing campaigns that promote branding, partnerships, vendor outreach, recruitment, and other related content.
Creating visually engaging digital art, video edits, and branding designs using editing tools like Canva, Adobe Suites, CapCut, etc.
Managing and executing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising.
Create, manage, and execute customer giveaways and other promotional activities (eg, spin the wheel, raffles for prizes, etc.)
Creating and implementing a social media policy and framework for the organization.
Moderating all social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Managing the digital marketing budget, including allocating budgets across different channels and platforms.
Planning, executing, and measuring experiments and conversion tests.
Collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners.
Producing regular digital dashboards for the management team.
Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business, including mobile, social media, development of blogs, and forums.
Collaborating with the procurement team to identify and select vendors/suppliers for various marketing-related events & promotions.
Staying up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.
All other related duties and projects assigned by managers.
